Cannabis Law PA’s Judith Cassel appointment to Chair of Medical Marijuana & Hemp Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association confirmed by PBA President, Nancy Conrad.

Dear Ms. Cassel,

As incoming PBA president, I am happy to confirm your appointment as Chair of the PBA Medical Marijuana & Hemp Law Committee for the upcoming bar year.  Your term will begin on May 10, 2024, and will conclude at the close of the 2025 PBA Annual Meeting.  The other leader on your team is Vice Chair Patrick Nightingale.

We encourage you to work with your committee leadership and committee members to plan activities and set a course of action for the coming year.  Please consider coordinating CLE programs and retreats with other committees and sections, including the DEI Team. Plans are in place for the Fall Committee/Section Day, and we will contact you regarding those details once a date and location have been determined.  

A committee membership roster will be sent to you in the near future, as well as the name of the Board of Governors member who will serve as liaison to your committee. Please keep your Board liaison informed of all committee activities, since liaisons will update the Board about the work of their assigned committees.
