Micah has been working in the cannabis space since 2016 during which time he has assisted cultivators, processors, dispensaries, physicians, patients, and other ancillary medical and adult use cannabis operators. He regularly assists large and small operators from start-up through day-to-day operations, compliance, and litigation matters. Micah has worked with cannabis clients in business formation, licensing, contract drafting, administrative appeals, commercial litigation, transactional work, and regulatory and corporate matters.

Micah is licensed in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and North Carolina.

Representative Matters

• Represented Pennsylvania medical marijuana grower/processors and laboratory in challenging the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s regulation requiring two separate laboratories test cannabis product at the two separate testing phases.  Green Analytics, LLC et al. v. Pa. Dept. of Health (Pa. Cmwlth. 2023). (Court ruling that the “Petitioners’ right to judgment is clear and … the Department’s regulation was invalid.”)
• Assisted numerous medical and recreational clients obtain grower, processor, and dispensary licenses in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, West Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, and Utah.
• Represents clients in appeals related to licensing application denials
• Represents clients before state and federal trial courts
• Represents clients in state and federal appellate courts
• Represents clients in commercial arbitrations
• Represents clients before state administrative tribunals
